They always say, “save the best for last.”
I don’t know about you, but doughnut week has made choosing a favorite pretty darn impossible. Did you see the peanut butter and jelly doughnuts? And these bourbon bacon doughnuts? I can’t even handle these Doughnut Monte Cristo Sliders. If you weren’t a believer that doughnuts make the world a better place, I hope you’re a believer now.
So, to wrap up doughnut week, I wanted kick it old school. When was the last time you had a glass of Kool Aid? Do you remember their funny commercials, when the giant pitcher would come crashing threw the wall of a kid’s house and start pouring fruity drinks?
Comedian, Dane Cook, does a stand up routine where he talks about the consequences of the Kool Aid character. Imagine if a parent came home and found a huge hole in their wall and a weird character serving their child drinks. I highly recommend checking the clip out! You will laugh your tookus off.
Anyways, these baked chocolate doughnuts with chocolate glaze are your standard fair when it comes to the delicious treat. But add a little dusting of cherry Kool Aid powder on top and your doughnut went from break room status to fire escape, wall crashing acceptable!
Also, don’t forget you could win a Deep Fryer perfect for frying up all things doughnuts from Park & Main! All you have to do is enter the giveaway below and follow the instructions. It’s so easy!
