We are headed down the home stretch.
Can you feel the pressure?
Around every corner there are more bells ringing, last minute present purchases, gifts wrapped by the dozens, and someone just bought the last can of Who hash. Naughty or nice, Christmas will be here in a flash.
To relieve some of this holiday pressure and stay in combat Christmas shape, I’ve teamed up with Tillamook to bring a full you a full-day spread highlighting one of my favorite ingredients, Greek yogurt.
You might be thinking, Tillamook makes Greek yogurt? Yep, yep! Yes, they are famous for delicious ice cream and wonderful assortments of cheeses, but their Farmstyle Greek Yogurt is truly one of a kind. Made with farm fresh dairy ingredients that include seven active yogurt and buttermilk cultures makes for a creamier, extra thick Greek yogurt. Plus, each individual container provides 14g of protein. #highfive
So, to get this Farmstyle Greek Yogurt holiday spread started, let’s begin with the most important meal of the day, breakfast. One of the easiest ways to incorporate Greek yogurt into your diet is with these Mini Overnight Oat Smoothies with Tillamook Oregon Marionberry Farmstyle Greek Yogurt & Peppermint Whipped Cream. These smoothies can be made the night before, which will make Christmas morning a breeze. Add oats, milk, chia seeds, banana, a container of Oregon Marionberry 0% Farmstyle Greek Yogurt, pinch of cinnamon into a food processor. Place in the fridge overnight and just blend in the morning. Dollop the tops with peppermint whipped cream for a festive touch!
After all the presents have been opened and naps have been taken, it’s time to set out a few appetizers before the feast. But it’s Christmas Day, which means appetizers shouldn’t be complicated. These Brie, Bacon, & Strawberry Greek Yogurt Puff Pastry Bites with Fresh Basil come together lickety-split. Bake the puff pastry bites and top with a slice of bacon, brie, strawberry, and a dollop of Oregon Strawberry 2% Farmstyle Greek Yogurt and basil.
Now, the piece de resistance to end our holiday spread are these Duck Fat Pork Sliders with Raspberry Greek Yogurt & Goat Cheese. If these sliders don’t keep the Christmas joy a buzzing, then I don’t know what will. The Washington Raspberry 2% Farmstyle Greek Yogurt adds the necessary balance to a decadent savory meal. Plus (the bonus!) these sliders also come together in 30 minutes! Hip-hip-hooray!

1 lb ground pork
1/2 cup duck fat, melted
1 4oz plain goat cheese, room temperature
6 brioche slider buns
1/2 cup Tillamook Washington Raspberry 2% Farmstyle Greek Yogurt
Tomato slices, garnish
Arugula, garnish
salt and pepper to taste
In a bowl, combine pork, 1/4 cup duck fat, salt and pepper. Form into six slider sized patties. In a skillet preheated to medium-high heat add the remaining 1/4 cup duck fat. Place the pork patties into the skillet and cook on for about three minutes. Flip, and continue to cook for another two to three minutes or until slightly pink inside. Remove the patties from the skillet and place on a plate to rest before serving.
To serve, take a bottom brioche bun and spread some of the goat cheese on the bottom. Next, place a pork pattie on top followed by a tomato slice, arugula and dollop of Tillamook Washington Raspberry 2% Farmstyle Greek Yogurt and finally the top brioche bun. Continue process for remaining sliders.
