Ingredients

  • 1 lb Spaghetti
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Chopped yellow onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Kosher salt and pepper
  • 1 24oz jar Favorite pasta sauce
  • 1 stick Unsalted butter
  • 2 cups Heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 cups Finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the spaghetti noodles. Cook according to package instructions, drain, and set aside in a large bowl.
  • While the pasta is cooking, in a medium skillet preheated to medium-high heat add the ground beef. Using a wooden spoon, break the beef up and cook for about 5 minutes or until no longer pink. Season with salt pepper. Next, add in the onion and garlic. Continue to cook for another couple of minutes or until the onion has softened. Add in the pasta sauce and stir to combine. Simmer the sauce over low heat.
  • In a small saucepan add butter and melt over low heat. Once the butter is melted add in the cream. Stir to combine. Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Keep stirring and then add in the Parmesan cheese. Continue to stir until slightly thickened. Pour the sauce over the reserved spaghetti noodles and toss to combine.
  • Spray a 9X13 baking dish with cooking spray. Add the spaghetti noodles to the baking dish and spread into an even layer. Top the noodles with pasta sauce followed by the shredded cheese. Bake for about 20 minutes uncovered or until golden brown.
