Cardamom Blackberry Brie Bites are a delightful and easy appetizer to make! Made with store-bought crescent dough, brie, blackberries, cardamon and fresh basil. This will be the perfect appetizer for any occasion.
Preheat an oven to 375 degrees. Spray two, mini-muffin pans with non-stick cooking spray.
In a small mixing bowl combine granulated sugar, lemon zest, and cardamom. Add the blackberries and toss with the sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes.
Next, roll out the crescent dough on a floured surface into a 12x8 square. Pinch the seams together. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut into 24, 2-inch squares. Take the square and press into the bottom of each prepared muffin cup.
Place a brie cube into the middle of each cup followed by a spoonful of the blackberries. Bake the brie bites until golden, about 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil.
