Kale Chips
Lately, I have been into creating quick and healthy side dishes. It could be the fact that this time of year I always over indulge in my food consumption and rarely feel like cooking. Or, that I am still wearing sweat pants every night when I come home from work due to Thanksgiving.
I was recently catching up on some of my go-to food blogs, when I stumbled upon this recipe. Kale Chips. Apparently, they are all the rage right now in the foodie world.
How did I miss this memo?
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 375. Line a baking sheet with foil. Wash and clean your Kale, and tear chip size pieces of the stem. Place them on the baking sheet, drizzle with olive and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top if desired!
Serve alongside your favorite dip!
Yuck… from your not so veggie eating mom.in.law 🙂
Are these things “chippy”? Are they tasty? Hmm. . .
You are funny Susie! They actually taste like potato chips. They are light and crispy. I dare you to try it one night:)
I repeat.. yuck
