Hi y’all!

What’s shakin’?
Do you know what I just realized? The Summer Olympics start in August! Where have I been? Hello! Earth to Lauren.
I am HUGE fan of the Olympic Games. I remember watching Carl Lewis, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, and Michael Johnson run around the track and think they were all total badasses. I remember jumping up and down screaming at the top of my lungs when Kerri Strug nailed her vault landing with an injured ankle. I remember wanting to swim fast like Summer Sanders and Janet Evans. In my opinion, there is nothing cooler than the Olympic games.
Oh shoot.
There I go again.
My apologies. I seem to get off topic more frequent these days. Geesh.
Given that the weekend will be here shortly, I thought it would be the perfect time to share with you a few more of my favorite camera apps for the iPhone or Droid.
Ready? Set. Go!
#1: PolyFrame ($0.99)
– This is a super fun collage/frame app! Instead of PolyFrame, they really should call it the Willy Wonka Magic Collage App. Wait. That’s a little a wordy. The reason this app reminds me of Willy Wonka is because the frames can go byways, sideways, and slantways, and longways, and backways! It’s an artistic playground! I also love all the background colors and pattern options. I chose the wood texture for today’s demonstration. What do you think?

#2: Phonto (Free)
– If you like adding text to pictures then you’ll love this app. Back in the old days, the only way I could add text to pictures was through Picasa. Not anymore. Phonto features more than 100 different fonts right at your fingertips. Do wha? You can change the color and the background. The text is rotatable. You can even add these fun cartoon speech bubbles! Is it me, or is it getting hot in here? Check it out!
BEFORE: a plain ol’ picture of Mr. B running through the park.
AFTER: his true emotions are revealed.
#3: LensLight ($0.99)
– In the world of photography, lighting is everything. You can create a dramatic or warm effect in a photo simply by changing the light. Now instead of dragging around huge studio lights, LensLight will create lighting effects in a flash. With this app you can add spotlights, light leaks, bokeh, flares, and glints. You can also adjust the brightness, color tint, and size. In a way, it’s kind of like a virtual bedazzler! Sa-sweet!
BEFORE: a simple street sign.
AFTER:  a bedazzled street sign.
And that’s a wrap!
