I don’t know about you, but I LOVE summer!

There is so much to look forward to that it’s hard to narrow down my favorites. But, if I had to choose, here are a couple of things that are on the top of my list.

Barbecuing. Need I say more? A majority of my childhood memories center around backyard patios. I remember my dad grilling burgers on a charcoal grill. My mom whipping up green pistachio pudding while my brothers and I played in a giant sandbox waiting to devour dinner. For me, summer screams backyard barbecues.

Cocktails. Summer would not be complete without a refreshing drink in my hand. My favorite summer drink is probably a Gin and Tonic. Although, a Pacifico with a juicy lime makes me equally as happy.

Table Rock. I look forward to visiting the lake every summer. My family has been going to Table Rock Lake for vacation since I was a little girl. I remember sleeping in my yellow swimsuit the night before we left because I was so flipping excited.

Kickball. The Stud Muffins return next week for another EPIC season. I am hoping we have another dominate season but more important, I hope this guy returns because blogging about him is too fun.

Hiking. I love to hike. I am very fortunate to live in a place that has a zillion trails that are absolutely breathtaking. One of my favorite hikes to date has to be to Silver Lake. When we were in Telluride last year a group of us hiked this trail. The views were magnificent. Yeah, definitely need to go back.

I seriously could go on forever. Between camping, trail running, four-wheeling, fly fishing, happy hour on roof tops the list would never end, and that’s why I love summer.
