Happy Ash Wednesday Day!
Wait. Can you even say that?
Anyways, I hope you’re having a good day/evening regardless.
After two days off from running (those 18 miles on Sunday wore my little tookus out), I decided to do a light jog to get my legs back in working order.
It was another beautiful day in Denver. Fifty-five with a cool, crisp breeze and lots of sunshine. Have I ever mentioned that Denver gets over 300 days of sunshine a year? Yep, yep. We get more sun then Florida and California!
Okay, where was I? Oh yeah…I did my usual running route but had some extra time so I did a quick loop through Wash Park, one of favorite places to run in the Mile High City.
Check out these pictures I took as the sun was setting. Witnessing this sunset put me at peace. Sometimes you just have to stop and breathe.
- 2 red peppers
- 2 green peppers
- 1 box of spinach
- 1 onion
- 1/2 box of whole wheat pasta
- homemade marina sauce
- LOTS, & LOTS of CHEESE!!
Lauren, those pictures are beautiful! Can I come to Denver and run with you?!?
Thanks friend! And yes, please come to Denver to play and run!
I just had a layover in both Chicago and Denver on my way back from NY to Calif. Denver looked so beautiful from the plane, all that lovely snow. Beautiful pictures!
You put me to shame – 18 miles? Gotta get myself on the treadmill. 😉 Great looking blog and thanks for the follow on Twitter.
