girls, i’m going to harvard!
Holy turkey!
That’s right.
Holy turkey!
We are t-minus three days away from the big turkey feast, and I don’t know about you, but I have a zillion things to do before I stuff myself with Thanksgiving treats.
Mr. B and I are driving back to Kansas to spend the holiday with the Griswold’s. Oh yes, we are driving.
We usually fly because the eight hour car ride from Denver to Wichita isn’t feasible for a quick weekend trip. However, since Mr. United got into the giggle juice and thought it was funny to charge people a $1000 for a one way ticket, we were forced to drive. (Seriously, who has the balls to charge someone a $1000 for a one way flight that’s only an hour long? Clearly they are off their meds.)
I was a little heated at first because sitting in a car for eight hours sounded like torture. But then, I looked at the bright side…ROAD TRIP! Who doesn’t love a good road trip? – “Like vacay?” (name that movie! – hint: the post title is from the same movie.) Mr. B even proposed taking the “back roads” instead of the usual I-70 path to mix things up. I see lots of random road sign pictures and a picnic in my near future. But in all honesty, the best part of this trip, I get to spend some quality time with Mr. B. Love that guy.
Alright, moving on…
Wait a minute.
How did that picture get there?
