keeping it on the low
Happy Monday!
And so begins another week.
(Seriously, where does the time go?)
Did you have a good weekend? Anything crazy or wild happen? Anything you’re dying to tell me? No? Yes? Do tell?!
My weekend was not to shabby. Friday, I rented a new camera lens (praise jesus!) for a week and activated my new iphone (double alleluia!). Saturday, I ran 12 miles, did some clay shooting and partied with friends at Oktoberfest. And Sunday, I lounged on the couch and took care of Mr.B.
But.
Even with all of those activities going on, I couldn’t stop thinking about my 10 year high school reunion. Why you ask? Well, apparently the reunion was this weekend back in Wichita, KS. Now, I say apparently because I never actually received a formal invitation or email about this event. Yep. There was no Facebook page, no mass emailing, no website, no blog, there was n-o-t-h-i-n-g.
The only way you would have known about the reunion is if you lived in Wichita or knew the person organizing the event. I found out through an old high school friend who I keep in touch with regularly, and she didn’t even go.
Am I crazy to think that’s just sad? Or is that normal behavior for a high school reunion? Does anyone even go to their 10 year reunion?
Alright, let’s talk about something fun.
I am so excited about my new iphone because that means brighter pictures in the bathroom! Wait. That could be bad. Eh, whatevs.
This morning I was freezing so I decided to put on a pair of wool pants (first of the season). You can call me crazy, but my office won’t turn off the air conditioning until December so my office is like an icebox.
Anyways, todays outfit is brought to you by: Swven – Where Looks Can Kill.
Our 10 year high school reunion has become a complete mess. There was a facebook group for ours and it has taken on a new life. One in which everyone is talking shit on each other. Just like high school. They finally nailed down a date and I'd like to go…but we'll be out of town for a wedding. It's good to know some things haven't changed. Like petty high school girls.
