Hey!

How’s it going?

Um, check it.

Look at the forecast for the Mile High city this week. BAM! Old man winter is making a brief appearance late tonight and tomorrow. We are supposed to get 3 to 6 inches overnight. Really? I’m calling B.S. Either way I don’t really care because Miz Sunshine will be back from her travels on Thursday.

Even though I am glad winter is quickly approaching because of ski season, I hate to see fall leave (pun fully intended…hehe). Raise your hand if you think fall is the best season? Oh yay! See, I knew we were friends for a reason.

Speaking of fall ending, can you believe Halloween is on Monday? Whoa bessie. Mr. B and I still don’t have costumes or party plans. Weird. And sadly, lame. I usually have us attending a costume party or two, but this year I am slacking. Looks like I have some Goodwill shopping to do ASAP. Any ideas on what we should be?

Since the weather is going to be crappy for the next two days, I decided to wear something that wasn’t made of wool. I found this zebra patterned belt in the back of my closet this weekend and decided that it needed to be worn.

I was going to wear my new pumps I snagged at Forever 21 this weekend, but it wasn’t working with the interpretive dance look I had going on. I will have to bust them out later this week or weekend. Remind me, k?

After work I made a pit stop at Whole Foods to pick up something for dinner. Since boot camp is at 7:30pm on Tuesdays, I like to hit up their hot food bar for a quick and easy dinner. Love.

When I arrived home, I decided to go for a quick jog. The weather wasn’t too bad, and I really needed to stretch the legs. But I had to bust out my first pair of running pants of the year because it was 47 degrees outside! Brrrrrr…

Midway through my run it started raining. Rats. Good thing I didn’t run too far because I was soaked when I walked into the building.
But my spirits were quickly lifted when I checked our mailbox…
Hello, Bon Appetit Thanksgiving Edition! JAZZ HANDS. I can’t wait to start cooking up a Turkey Day storm.
Boot camp tonight was tough as usual. Jennifer had us doing tons of squats. I don’t know whether to be flattered or freaked out, but she wanted to put four, 45 pound plates on each side of this leg press machine. That’s 180 lbs on each side! Do wha?
She is convinced that my legs have gotten stronger, which is great, but I don’t want meathead legs! Homegirl here just needs cute, tone legs. So I told her maybe next week.
Now I am home getting ready to watch Dexter.
I am contemplating whether or not I can convince Mr. B to watch an episode of The Rachel Zoe Project. Hmm….maybe I should give him a beer first?
Alright, see ya tomorrow!
