Okay.

I need your help.

Something is wrong with my ear.

My ear started acting funky on Sunday night. I thought lack of sleep was the culprit, but sure enough, I woke up on Monday morning and my ear had not gotten better. I am pretty confident that I don’t have an ear infection, but every time I hear a sound above a certain decibel level, it sounds like someone is crumpling wrapping paper right next to my ear. Weird, I know.

I tried to clean my ears out last night, but that didn’t help. Mr. B said a bug might be living in my ear…GROSS! No way. He was kidding of course. He said if it was a bug you could probably hear it crawling around. Sick. I really don’t know what to do. If it doesn’t go away in a week, I am going to an ENT doctor because the sound is driving me bat s%@t crazy!

Thoughts?

Even though my ear was throwing a fit, I woke up this morning in a chipper mood.

SLEEP + THE NEWS OF H&M OPENING SOON = HAPPY LAUREN!

Friends, you have no idea how excited I am that H&M is opening in November. I used to shop there all the time when I lived in Chicago. They have the best accessories and jackets. Plus, I don’t feel so creepy shopping there as an almost thirty year old.

In other good news, Mr. B fixed our closet light this past weekend. I was going to do it myself, but could you imagine me on a ladder trying to change an industrial light bulb? That has fail written all over it. Anyways, now that we have light (Alleluia), I was able to find my fall ruffle oxford. Score!

I usually wear this shirt with a long grey sweater, skinny jeans, and my fierce brown riding boots. But today, I thought I would try to incorporate it into my work outfit.

Oxford: Banana Republic
Pants: Express
Belt: Ralph Lauren
Brown Flats: Antonio Melani

After work I stopped by World Market to try and find some new pillows for our living room couch (our current ones are effing ugly). They had a ton of options to choose from, and I think I may have found a pair that will work. We’ll see.

I did pick up a couple bottles of wine for this weekends upcoming shenanigans. I swear they have the best prices on wine. $7.99 for Menage a Trios…brilliant!

Since boot camp didn’t start until 7:30pm, I decided to make dinner before hand. Pork tacos are super delicious and take less than 15 minutes to make. All Mr. B has to do when he gets home is preheat and eat!

Boot camp was tough as usual. I was not in the mood to do any form of physical activity. But leave it to Jennifer to convince me to do a bazillion squats (damn she’s good). I am pretty sure walking tomorrow might be an issue.

Now I am at home trying to catch up on some reading. Sigh….if only there were more hours in a day.

See ya!
