Today, Mr. B turns the BIG 3-0!!

There are a million reasons why I am thankful Mr. B was born, but considering that I could be here all day listing them out, I thought I would share a few of my favorites….

1.) His curly hair. Those locks make me weak in my knees:)
2.) Passion for music.
3.) A true renaissance man. There is no limit to what he can fix or create.
4.) Loyalty. In this world, I think that characteristic is hard to find in a person.
5.) His curiosity. Literally, a walking encyclopedia.
6.) His humor.
7.) Big cuddler.
8.) His writing is pure brain candy.
9.) His sense of adventure. I wouldn’t have taken scuba diving lessons or gone to Costa Rica without him.
10.) Authenticity. What you see, is what you get.

Given that Mr. B’s birthday is on a week day, and he is traveling back from Iowa as I type this post…we decided a feast at home would be the best way to celebrate!

         Prime Rib Roast with a Coffee Rub and a side of Horseradish Sauce for dipping

         Whipped Mashed Potatoes with Whole Grain Mustard

        Apple Cider Brussel Sprouts with Caramelized Shallots

        Chocolate Sheet Cake with Chocolate Icing and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
