Hallo’.

(That means hello in Icelandic).

I received a couple of pictures this morning from my uncle Michael who is visiting Reykjavik, Iceland.

Aren’t these pictures gorgeous?

Have you ever been to Iceland? I hear it’s epic. The only real glimpse I have had of Iceland is watching Allie (from the Bacholorette) get her freak on in the hot springs, and then dump that ridiculous guy who said he would “guard and protect her heart.” Remember that guy? Casey? Wasn’t that his name? Psychoooo.
Anyways, I hope Mr. B and I get to visit Iceland in the future. (hint…hint…wink, wink…Mr. B)
Today was a dreary old day.
I am pretty sure it didn’t stop raining once.
I guess I really can’t complain because the cool weather feels fantastic. All I want to do is snuggle on the couch with a comfy blanket, read a book, while sipping some butternut squash soup.
I think the weather made work today super quiet. It was actually quite eerie.
But, my outfit wasn’t! This is my first official fall outfit. Hello, purple sweater!
(I still can’t figure out what I am smiling about.)
Purple Top: Forever 21
Black Pants: Gap
Black Pumps: Steve Madden
Necklace: Limited
Watch: M. Kors
This top is super cute with skinny jeans and cowboy boots. I think my favorite part is the two small pockets in the front. I wore this outfit a couple times last year and it was perfect K-State footballs games  with a long grey sweater to cover my arms. Love.
After I arrived home from work, I had an overwhelming amount of stuff to do. But, I won’t bore you with those details. I will however show you the t-shirt I received last week from Emily and Casey, who own Recipage. They sent everyone who uses their fantastic recipe site a free t-shirt.
I thought it was pretty cute. It’s a bit big, but hopefully it will shrink because the fabric is super soft.
Dinner tonight was all about comfort food.
– Turkey burgers with hatch chilies and pepper jack cheese (yay for chili season!)
– Roasted fingerling potatoes
– Roasted broccolini

Mr. B and I are to catch up o shows. We are waaaaaay behind. (like haven’t watched a single Entourage episode yet!)
Have a great night!
