yellow polka dot bikini
Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just realized that I didn’t post anything yesterday. Ooops. Where are my manners?
Yesterday was a pretty typical Sunday.
We…
– Slept in
– Devoured a Breakfast Quesadilla
– Watched a movie: The A Team (very funny btw)
– Picked up a few items at the grocery store
– Cleaned the apartment
– Designed a flyer for the upcoming Clay Shoot
– Took the Explorer to a Dealer for a price estimate
– Had dinner with Amy Jo and Eric who were in town from Aspen
– Continued working on the Clay Shoot flyer until the wee hours
Whew.
How was your Sunday?
Okay, let’s talk about this week….mmkay?
It’s gonna be short. And when I say short, I’m talking centimeters. Today is the only day I will work this week because tomorrow evening, we are headed to KC, and then to Table Rock!
YAY!!!!!
I can’t even begin to explain how freaking excited I am to be going to the lake this week. As a family, we have been going down to Shell Knob, MO since I was a baby. Actually, my parents had been going there way before they had kids. They have some effing hilarious stories that I might have to ask them to share.
Needless to say, Table Rock Lake holds a very special place in our hearts.
I remember as a little girl sleeping in my yellow, polka-dot bathing suit because I was super excited and didn’t want to miss a beat! Even though it’s a six hour drive to get there from Wichita, I wasn’t going to miss the chance to jump from the brown mini van into the water when we arrived. Hmmm….I wonder why I am always over prepared?
Anyways, since we leave tomorrow I can hardly contain my excitement. Instead of a yellow bathing suit to express my excitement, I now rely on my JAZZ hands.
Today’s outfit brought to you my JAZZ Hands Inc: “Where we make hand motions dazzling!”
After work, I headed to Wash Park to blow off some steam and get my mind prepped for vacation. It was hot, but partly cloudy so I really couldn’t complain. 3 quick miles, and I was back to happy, let’s do some beer bong’s Lauren.
Once home, I got to work on dinner. I was freaking starving.
Tonight’s menu, WIENERS!!
Yeah, I’m a five year old sometimes.
Those look delicious!!! Have fun at the lake!!
Man, those wieners DO look delicious! And the salad even better. Please cook the entire time we are down at the lake. ; )
I actually bought the exact same wieners – although – YIKES! – not the jalapeno variety. I bought the smoked chicken/applewood? No Nitrates!
I am so happy you are happy about the lake. Here's to fun times and family.
Love, Moomers
Have a wonderful time at the lake! I've definitely experienced the time-warp that occurs on your last day of work before vacation. You could work a full 24 hours and STILL have things that need to be done.
p.s. Love Weeds. Every time I think they've managed to Go Big, they go bigger.
