berry crisp
You’ve seen the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, right?
Plus, you can’t redo a Gene Wilder film, ever. He is the most epic actor of all time! Young Frankenstein anyone? I remember as a kid watching that movie when I didn’t feel well. My Mom would make my brothers and I homemade chicken noodle soup and let us watch the movie because it made us giggle. I still watch it today when I don’t feel well!
Anyways, one of my favorite scenes is when Mr. Wonka brings them inside and the kids notice the yellow-striped wallpaper with fruit stencils. Mr. Wonka says, “Try some more. The strawberries taste like strawberries, and the snozzberries taste like snozzberries. Vercua Salt replies, “Snozzberries? Who ever heard of a snozzberry?” I remember wanting to smack Veruca upside the head. You’re complaining about licking edible wallpaper! Shut up and like it, ya crazy!
