How to Make these Peppermint Brownie Batter Croissants

Embarrassingly easy to make should be the title of this recipe. With only five ingredients required this dessert comes together quickly. The only hard part is waiting! Follow the steps below for success:

  • Preheat an oven to 325 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl add the egg, water, and vegetable oil. Stir to combine. Next, add in the brownie mix and stir to combine. Gently stir the peppermint extract.
  • Place the croissants on the baking sheet. Using a serrated knife slice the croissants lengthwise (carefully not cutting all the way through) and lay the croissants flat like a book on the baking sheet.
  • Take a big spoonful of the brownie batter and spread it inside the croissant. Close the croissant and dollop the top with more brownie batter. Sprinkle the top with decorative sprinkles if desired. Repeat the process with all the remaining croissants.
  • Bake the brownies for about 18 to 20 minutes or until the center is moistly set. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
