Tips for Making this Heart-Shaped Chocolate Cake:
- Heart-Shaped Pan. I found this 10-inch heart-shaped pan on Amazon. If you can’t find a heart-shaped pan you can always make a chocolate sheet cake and use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to make the cake.
- Cake. If you do make the heart-shaped cake, you will have leftover batter to make a second cake. Or if you want to make a 9×13 sheet cake you can use the batter for that as well.
- Sprinkles. I used these sprinkles from Amazon. Again use whatever kind of festive sprinkles you have in your pantry.
How to Make the Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting:
The best part of the cake is the Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting. So, naughty, but so good! You will only need a handful of ingredients to make the frosting: butter, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and cream cheese!
Combine the ingredients using a stand or hand mixer until creamy! Once the cake has cooled, smear this on top and watch this cake disappear! Just don’t forget the festive sprinkles!
