What I’m Excited to Make in October is a collection of delicious, seasonal recipes that highlights produce like pomegranates, apples, winter squash, and more! Plus, I’ve included some extra flavorful dishes to make in the slow cooker, cheesy go-to’s for game day, and Halloween!

Hello, October!

Oh, how I love thee.

If you’ve been a long time reader of The Curious Plate you know that October is my FAVORITE month of the entire year! Sorry Christmas peeps. Between the fall foliage, cooler temperatures, tailgating, pumpkin patches, and Halloween, it truly is the best.

Anyway, as we continue along our fall adventures, I put together a collection of yummy food to make this month. You’ll find the following produce in season:

  • Apples
  • Sweet Potato
  • Winter Squash
  • Pumpkin
  • Pomegranate
  • Kale
  • Dates
  • Brussels Sprouts
  • Cauliflower
